Challenge:
In 2011 I approached by the Future US team who runs the GamesRadar, PlayStation Magazine and PC Gamer brands to help launch and promote the Hyundai Veloster Re:Mix Lab at the Chelsea Market in NYC. I was asked to come aboard with my Royal Flush brand and help promote the event and fill the room with various tastemakers, first-adapters and comic book fans.

The Event:
For the release of the all-new Gen Y Hyundai Veloster, Future coordinated with Hyundai to produce pop up events in creative urban hubs. The RE:MIX Lab focused on 3 pillars: games, music & technology. Each event included permanent exhibits, art installations and 3 customized Veloster’s aligned with the 3 pillars. The partnership with Royal Flush kicked off in New York with a live Forza broadcast played by professional gamers, streamed live on Twitch.TV. A celebrity panel followed the broadcast with The Walking Dead’s creator, Robert Kirkman, hosted by Chris Hardwick. The NYC event ended with a live DJ performance by Eclectic Method and Minus Baby. We filmed and moderated several interviews with the creator of The Walking Dead comic series and massively successful AMC TV adaptation, Robert Kirkman, as well as Chris Hardwick, host of the Walking Dead after show, The Talking Dead. In the videos the pair discuss the comic, the series, and America’s newest fascination with zombie culture..
